About AP High Court:

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh is the High Court of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The seat of the High Court is located in Amravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

All the courts currently used for the Superior Court were called the “Judicial Complex” and would be used for the “Civil Court of the City” after the opening of the permanent Superior Court building.

It was created in 1954, during the formation of the new state of Andhra, which resulted in the previous presidency of Madras.

The court merged with the city of Guntur until 1956, after the state of Hyderabad merged with the state of Andhra Pradesh.
