These vacancies (Advertisement Nos. 07/2020, 08/2020 & 09/2020) were removed to fill the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) in the Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Bihar has gone.

Have a degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or institute. Or have passed Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers or Engineering Society of India.
Note: Degree from distance education will not be valid.

Age Limit Details :-

The minimum age limit has been fixed at 21 years and maximum 37 years.

• The maximum age limit for women candidates of unreserved category is 40 years.
• Maximum age 40 for male and female candidates of Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class.
• Maximum age of 42 years for male and female candidates of SC and ST category.

How to Apply Online :-

• Login to the website (www.bpsc.bih.nic.in). On the homepage, you will see the link IMPORTANT NOTICE, ADVERTISEMENT AND SYLLABUS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL) … (Advt. No. 03/2020).
• Click on the Adventure Option in this link. This will open the advertisement related to the post. Read it well and check your eligibility according to your post.
• After this, click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab on the left side of the homepage. Now a new webpage will open. Click on the ‘BPSC Online Application‘ link given here.
• In this way the webpage related to online will open. Here you will see ‘Online Registration’ and ‘Login’ tabs. First, click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab.
• Now click on the ‘Apply’ button in front of the applied post.
• On doing this the registration page will open. Check ad number here. Then enter the information requested and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Now the applicant will receive an email. It will contain the applicant’s user name, password and login link.
• After that, login with the help of user name and password.
• Now click on the ‘Click for download invoice’ button at the bottom left of the dashboard. Take a printout of it and pay the prescribed fee.
• Then login again. Now enter the requested information in the various boxes in the ‘Update Challan Details’ at the bottom of the dashboard and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Login again after 24 hours of submitting challan details. Now click on the ‘Click for Application Form’ button.
• On doing this the application form will open. Now enter the remaining information here. Also, scan and upload your passport size photograph and signature. Both these files should be in JPG / JPEG format.
• After this, click on ‘Preview’ button to check the completed application.
• If you want to improve the form, you can. When all the information is correct, click on the submit button at the end.
• After this, the applicant should login again and make sure that the ‘Click for Application Form’ button is removed from the dashboard.
• Now click on the ‘Download Form’ tab present here. After doing this, your completed form will be downloaded. Take a printout of it.
• Now send it along with photocopies of the sought certificates to the address fixed through post by the specified date.
