SSC CGL Recruitment 2021 :- The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the SSC CGL 2020-2021 (SSC CGL 2020-21) on 29 December, and has also opened the online application window for the SSC CGL 2020-21 exam.
SSC CGL 2020-21 Tier 1 exam will be held from 29 May 2021 to 07 June 2021. The last date for submission of online application is 31 January 2021.

Before knowing the details about SSC CGL Exam Pattern and Syllabus, here are some points that you need to know about SSC CGL Selection Process:
Normalization: If the examinations are conducted in multiple shifts, the marks obtained by the candidates in the Tier-I and Tier-2 examinations will be normalized.
The marks scored in this manner will be treated as final and will be used by the candidates for the next phase of the examination. To qualify and final qualification will be done.
SSC CGL 2020 Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam will be conducted in online mode.
- The time duration of Tier-1 will be 60 minutes.
- The time duration of Tier-2 will be 120 minutes. 60-60 minutes for English and Quant each.
- Tier-3 will have to be done in 60 minutes in pen and paper mode which will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks.
- There is no sectional cut off.
- Skill test: Skill test will be qualifying.
- Final Merit List: Merit will be prepared on the basis of overall performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III. However, the candidate has to qualify separately at all levels ie Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III.
- Minimum marks required for the descriptive examination: Only those candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks of the written examination, which are decided by the Commission at their discretion, will be included in the SKILL TEST.

Apart from the above, there are some essential physical standards which are Inspector (Central Excise / Examiner / Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).
#SSC CGL 2021 Application Fee :-
- The application fee to apply for SSC CGL is Rs 100.
- Women, SC, ST, Divyang and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
- The application fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank credit / debit card. The challan form will be generated online.
- To pay the cash fee, the candidate should take a printout of the online challan after the completion of Part-1 registration.
- Submit the required fee in any branch of SBI and then register Part-2.
- Candidates who wish to make online payment can directly go for Part-2 registration after completion of Part-1 registration.
- To continue Part-2 registration, the candidate has to fill in the registration number and date of birth.
