Educational Qualification For WB PoliceJobs 2021:-

• Candidates only apply for this post if they have sucessfully pass secondary examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent for constable post.
• Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent for SI Post.

Language:

Whoever is going to apply must have a good knowledge of Bengali language, that is, he should not have any problem in reading, speaking and writing Bengali. However, this criterion may not apply to residents of the hill sub-districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts. Online application submission:-

1. First, all candidates visit the official website.

3. Fill up the form with all relevant information.
4. Upload scanned copies of photographs and signatures.
5. Pay the application fees and submit.

Offline submission of application:-

1. Firstly, you can download the offline form from the website of West Bengal Police Recruitment 2021.
2. Fill up the form providing all necessary and important details.
3. On clicking the ‘Save and Download’ button, a printout can be taken of the pre-filled form.
4. The pre-filled form will contain a bar code for the candidate’s application number and authenticity.
5. A passport size photograph must be pasted and a signature must be provided in the designated slot.
6. The original copy of the application fee payment receipt or the challan (copy of the board) generated by the Department of Posts or United Bank of India should be attached with the printed form.

WB POLICE RECRUITMENT 2021 Exam Pattern:-

Candidates have to appear for preliminary and final written examination for the post of constable in WBP. On passing the preliminary examination, the shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the main examination and other subsequent examinations. The prelims will be such that only the candidates can pass.

• The questions in both the phases will be objective type.
• The question paper will be bilingual – in Bengali and Nepali, except for the English section in the main examination.
• The test will be for 1 hour each; There will be no sectional time limit.
• A total of 100 questions will be asked in the prelims and 85 questions in mains.
• Each question will carry 1 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
